Pumpkins Appetizers

This is a simple refreshing appetizers. Never know that pumpkin can taste so nice with just simple ingredients. This month I am really experiencing various methods of cooking pumpkin.





Pumpkin Appetizers

Ingredients:

Pumpkin - Julienne
Pineapple - Cubes
Japanese Cucumber - Cubes
Red Chilli - Slices
Orange Peel - Finely Chopped
Lime Peel - Julienne
Lime Juice
Sugar 

Methods:

- Blanched the pumpkin with hot water and then soak with cold water, strained.
- Mix all the ingredients and adjusted sugar to your taste.

This appetizer looks so refreshing, thanks for sharing this lovely recipe! Can I check with you, is your lime peel sour plum? And is your orange peel the kind of ready-made sugar-coated orange peel, or can I just grind straight from an orange? I would really love to make this straight away, cos I still have 400g of pumpkin in the fridge, after putting 600g into the freezer. :)

Hi Miss. B..my lime peel is from the fresh lime, I used the knife to cut and julienned. The orange peel is those dry type that I bought from medical hall..
